I'm still looking for another bookshelf. The only thing is that once I consider how much a good one cost I will think of all the books I could be buying with that money instead. Oh, I also got my video games a few days ago.
I love ikea bookshelves...cheap, cheerful and will survive the zombie apocalypse.
is ikea really that awesome?? i hear nothing but good things about em all the time.
They supply me with swedish food in holland, I love them.

I don't think I've ever been to a Ikea store.
(Of course after waiting for their store locater to load it seems the closet one is about 150 miles/250 kilometers away which would probably explain it. :1orglaugh)
I know I said I didn't like miniatures because of the price, but I broke down and pledged to Reaper Miniatures' Bones line on Kickstarter. I just found out about it today, and I literally made it with minutes to spare before the deadline ran out today. The price for what they were putting out was just way too good. (It also has to be one of the most successful kickstarters ever judging by the number of people and money raised.) I still can't believe I didn't find out about it until it was almost over.
I just found out my hubby did the $100 pledge for me. Unfortunately, the surprise was ruined since he used his gmail account, in which I get mail alerts from on my phone (have it set up that way for the droid store).
Are you going to pretend you still don't know about it so you don't ruin his surprise for him?
Between the server crashes they were having at the end, and being on dial up I didn't think I was going to get through on time yesterday. For a while afterwards I wasn't even sure I got in on time, and it said my contribution was still being processed like 20 minutes later until it finally went through, although the e-mail said I got in at 5:57 and it closed at 6:00. Now I just have to wonder if I will try to paint some of them. I've never tried painting miniatures before. Although I still like the plain old gray look also if it comes to that. (Things like dragons I don't think I would paint anyhow because then you can pretend they are any color and use the easier.)
Are you going to jump on the big Cthulhu figure as an extra? I think it was their very last stretch goal they hit after the 3.2 million dollar mark or something like that. Although knowing you there probably is some type of Cthulhu mini in your collection already.
I was also reading somebody joking and saying so many people jumped on the kickstarter they wonder if there will even be normal customers left to buy all the regular stuff that comes out because of it. :1orglaugh
fucking chessex.
i bought my first dice bag.. it ripped. thats within 10 minutes of having it. besides that, not a great bag. i shoulda got something better. the good news is that im getting a replacement and ill just have my girl sew the seam on the old one. i just have to be gentle i suppose.
also, i got my 3rd set of dice. my d20 is pretty amazing. it rolls 20s and 1s like crazy. its a real gamblers dice. honestly, i think i can live with those odds. crit miss or crit hit, either way, excitement.
but really, am i the only one who thinks chessex is good but not GREAT?
You can always go with the old standard bearer of rpg dice bags, the one you get with a bottle of Crown Royal. Of course then you would have to figure out what to do with the Crown Royal. :1orglaugh
I like some of the GBG dice bags myself. You can even go to their site and special order them.
If you have a lot of assorted dice one of those small round fish bowls can also work. That way anybody can reach in and get them at the table if needed, and it can make a centerpiece at game night. Of course then it might get in the way of the gamming mat you lay down, but you could still pass it around.
