I know Dr Biruta, Intelligent and a great human being. My Dad (Dr James Murekezi) spoke highly of him. I actually think they worked together at Rutogo Hospital. Great interview.

You are doing brilliant work! I discovered you on the Rutendo interview (the anti-sanctions Zimbabwean leader) and immediately subscribed. I grew up in a volatile and politically murderous and dictatorial Kenya, and decided after I left to raise my family overseas. They are now adults and see the world very differently than myself or Dr. Biruta describes of our childhood. The proof that President Kagame is a truly legendary leader in Africa, is that he has so transformed an African country that young people like you Sanny Ntayombya, now think like my children raised overseas, and not like the typical African tormented and traumatized by political violence! Congratulations Rwanda!

I personally consider Dr. Biruta one of the smartest politicians we have in this land. He is also patriotic, because, honestly, at 66 I would be enjoying retirement!

You've really improved! Now you ask specific questions without going off on a long tangent. I used to fast-forward through your questions because they took too long, but this is so much better. Plus, the questions are great. Love it!

In catholic seminaries there was no discrimination before 73. After 73 the director at Kabgayi seminary started to apply quotas. He called it proportions. At Virgo fidelis seminary in Butare Tutsis were probably the majority.I attended both schools.

Vincent must have forgotten the "équilibre ethnique et régiona"l, this system of ethnic and regional balance was a quota for every prefecture/region and for the ethnic groups, 90 % for Hutus, 9% for Tutsis and 1% for Twas. So supposedly if the quota was reached no other Tutsi would be admitted. Same for persons of the South. It was the theory, in reality, for instance, there was no Tutsi ambassador most fo the time, no bourgmestre of less than the "quota", no or very few Prefects, etc. A commune in Gisenyi or Ruhengeri could have all its ending primary school kids going to public secundary schools but a commune in Gitarama would send one or two or none. Tutsis and Southerners started private schools to address the fake balance.

how many hutus were on top during the tutsi monarchy? How many twas are generals in the rdf right now?How comes that tutsis that are less than 10% of rwanda, account for over 99% of top generals. It is your flawed ethnic mindset that destroyed rwanda.Rwanda is just a sleeping volcano.

Assume your radical status, stick to it, and you'll be punished for it when the right time comes. Don't ever try to give excuses for your radicalization. You know Mandela, M. Luther King, Kizito and many others, do you happen to think that you faced more discrimination, imprisonment, and violent brutality than them?
