Anyone else really misses the old op and ed?

I miss them so much. I thought they fit the vibe of the show so well. The new ones are eh they're okay average to me. There's times when a opening song just doesn't need to be changed. This is one of those times. They should've kept the old ones. It's only 24 or 25 episodes so just keep it.

i also prefer old op and ed. but the new op sounds like
something from 2010s so it's kinda nostalgic.
the new ed is not as powerful as the first one but it's
emotional so i guess it's fine since it'll be in the very last episode.

Yeah, the current OP and ED sounds too anime-y

OP 2 sounds like an opening for some generic ass magical high school show from the early 2010s

The new OP fits the current state of the story. The first OP was slow and mysterious which fit that first half.

With this second half, the second OP goes really well with the more fastpaced and hype part of the story. Altho we still are getting new twists and shit, the shadows of mystery and slow dripfeed of information from the beginning is no longer there as we know far more now than what we started with. Now its simply all about uniting together and fighting against the enemy to win.

Exactly what I think too.

I miss them, I really miss them. The new OP kinda look and feel like Steinโ€™s gate OP, not saying itโ€™s bad, but I do miss the old one.

people keep saying that but I still don't see how it fits the vibe of the show it's story and vibe is still the same vibe I have before they changed the op and the old ones still fit way better

nah the old op was an insane banger the new op sounds like some generic shounen

Well I've only watched up til episode 15, but it does seem pretty shonen-y.. so it fits that way.

In fact I do remember that with the manga a regular comment or criticism is that at the final arc (which I assume we're in now), it became abit too shonen-y. But I guess I'll have to wait til I actually catch up and see for myself. But yeeah with these points... the OP does seem pretty accurate.

i really miss the la la lalala ending , kind off gave the emptiness vibe with the real life footage of the island , but new ed doesn't do that anymore :(

The ending was damn good. It was well suited to the vibe of the show. Same goes for the intro also. The new intro just eliminated the suspense and mystery vibe from it.
