I spotted this article through a request at Editor Assistance apparently from someone involved with this theatre school complaining about attacks being made in the article. When I checked it out, I was rather surprised to find that it's actually nothing but an attack - it's entirely about internal workings, a court case about said internal workings, and so on. I looked back further and couldn't find anything that resembled notability in previous versions of the article, so not only is it an attack page that includes attacks on specific people, it also doesn't appear to meet WP:CORP. I was sorely tempted to delete it out of hand, but thought I may be misinterpreting - better to ask for opinions first. Consider me a strong Delete (I'm including an associated article that extends the issues regarding a single person off into a discussion of a lawsuit. Both of these articles have minor coverage from local newspapers, from the looks of things, but they just aren't notable in the grand scheme of things.). - I am including in this discussion the following article:
- Delete for all the same reasons. The article needs to be completeley reworked to include factual information about the business (and establish notability) and the lawsuit can have its section reduced to a size that reflects the weight of the case. I suspect that at this point its too difficult to rescue and deleting it is the best course. Mfield (talk) 17:13, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per Tony Fox, without prejudice to recreation of a more suitable page. --AndrewHowse (talk) 17:48, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as per nom. MilborneOne (talk) 17:56, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong delete both articles per nom, tempted to nominate for speedy. ukexpat (talk) 19:03, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per nom and Mfield, and without prejudice. I also stumbled across this in the same way the nom did. I usually argue that articles should only be deleted if there is no intrinsic notability, but this entire article should be nothing more than a small controversy section in a larger article about Off Broadway Theatre, if that subject is notable and reliably sourced. And I'm not convinced it is, even if totally overhauled per WP:HEY to remove the attack elements. The other article on the lawsuit is even less notable, and is completely unsalvageable as a separate article. Delete both per WP:V, WP:N, WP:CORP, WP:NOT, and finally WP:SNOW. — Becksguy (talk) 11:07, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete both. Off Broadway Theatre should perhaps be deleted without prejudice, if it is a theatre arts school in Sierra Vista, it may be notable. But I'd suggest in the interim that it might be redirected to Off Broadway. Just delete the article about the lawsuit, which was apparently decided by a local court and is not the subject of any reported decision: Wikipedia is not The People's Court. - Smerdis of Tlön (talk) 16:20, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Off Broadway refers to theater in New York City only, so I believe redirection would not make much sense. — Becksguy (talk) 00:26, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete those two, as well as the Kathryn Chaffin-Honda and Cheryl Lynn Reynolds redirects. Grsz11 →Review! 04:19, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
