Thanks to all the elves for your hard work! This was such a fun event. Looking forward to the next one already!
Hi @DigiCat, Happy New Year! Thank you for recommending Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai (Tada Never Falls in Love). It’s a sweet and wholesome anime. Just what I needed this holiday season. You were able to find such a good fit for my preferences. I’m excited to start your other recommendations this year. Take care and have a great 2025! :)

Thank you to all the elves for creating such an interesting event. I had a really good time. @LegendGoose49 Thank you very much for the gifts! I didn't have much time to check them all, but I definitely liked the main one. Survival in space with an impostor in the crew? Definitely a plus. Characters so different from each other, yet with similar problems. A really good recommendation! I also had the other two in ptw, but I had no reason to watch them before others. Thanks to you, maybe the anime that were somewhere far down on the list will get a chance. Thank you for the effort you put into finding something special for me :) Especially since meeting my expectations must have been a challenge and all the anime you recommended to me really appeal to my taste ^^. I wish you all the best in the New Year :) |

❅ Anime: @Sarah_Urie Thanks for the recommendations! I ended up completing Sakurako's Investigation first. Detective anime usually aren't my forte, but I'm glad to have a change of pace. Perhaps it's on paper something I'd enjoy, but I sadly didn't like it that much. Sakurako's personality was my main gripe and that pretty much seals the deal. This made it a bit hard to watch at times, especially since I am picky given its biological view on some matter. I'm not trying to say your pick was bad by any means. I'd say I'm in fact grateful for your choice as I would never have watched it otherwise. Thank you for choosing something lesser known! While Black Lagoon wasn't exactly what I envisioned getting given my likes on my post, I am glad you chose this one. I would not have given this a try for at least quite a while had you not done that. I'm currently watching it, so I don't have a proper opinion of it for now. I may update this post later to do just that. It's the type of show I usually don't watch, but it's quite interesting. As you may already know, Mushishi is from my PTW list and one I tagged as "Priority". I'm shocked that you recommended it to me despite me requesting not to go for that tag. I believe it's the type of show I will really enjoy, but have yet to start on, so perhaps you noticed that and wanted to recommend it despite my request? Either way, I will most definitely watch that one some day. It may not be soon, but I do have my eyes on it. ❅ Manga: @Kamishiro2003 I didn't know what to expect, since manga gifts can vary so much. One thing I will say for sure is that it was a beautiful choice. 10th: You and I fell in love with the same person. was quite a ride. I honestly didn't like it too much at the start, but it quickly got a lot more interesting as things developed. It didn't end the way I thought of as well and the emotional values it had were touching. I am very thankful you recommended this to me. Thanks for the gift! |

@GlassPufferfish Hello!! Thank you so much for the recommendations <3 All of them were lovely and suit my taste well so thank you so much! Also.. the boys with glasses criteria.. you did well.. I wasn't expecting every recommendation I got to be bl but I was pleasantly surprised ^_^ Negative-kun to Positive-kun was as you said a light read so it was the first recommendation I read and I loved it!! They're so cute <33 I love the little afterstory we get too also the little parallel we get with the two girls I really enjoyed it!! Shin an Jun 5evaaa As for The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window I started it and it's pretty cool so far! I found out later that it was one of Gege Akutami's favourite manga and inspired so many elements in Jjk which is pretty cool! Back to the actual manga, the concept is definitely very unique. By the second chapter I was thinking wow this is weird.. I love it. Thank you for this as well! Finally, MadK! The funny thing about this manga is that I actually started reading it a while back and forgot about it. After getting the rec again I decided to read it again and it was actually more interesting than I remember! Since it isn't fully translated yet I decided to wait a little to finish it, but apart from that I think this is the one that checked most if not allowed my request boxes. Thank you so much for this recommendation! The event was fun this year, and I hope that you enjoyed the gifts you received too :D!! |

@dustydany Hihi! First off, I would like to thank you for the gift you recommended me! It was very thoughtful and fit my criteria nicely! Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to read it but I had time to look at the synopsis and all I have to say is that you know what I like without having to know me. I have actually been interested in alchemy type manga for a long time but I was wondering what to watch. Thank you for your hard work, I hope you had a good holiday! |

@BigboyscrimBaby Thank you so much for your suggestions! I have decided to watch The Fable, and me and my husband have been enjoying it a lot! Don't know how it went under my radar, but I was definitely missing out! The other two recommendations I have put at the top of my plan to watch list, I'm sure I will enjoy those too :) Again thank you so much! Hope you had good holidays <3 PS: Big thank you to the elves for your hard work! |

(They are already planned for the Xmas Party :)) Once again, thank you, and have a happy new year! |

@Dracarys_1995 Thanks for both manga recommendations! I finished reading My Hero! and it was really sweet and wholesome, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that MC didn't simp to the pretty boy which is quite common in anime/manga and fell in love with the one with better personality, I was definitely looking for something like that! Last Game also seems interesting, I'll start reading it once I get some free time. |

Hi @Stardew,
It was a nice surprise to find not one, but three recommendations from you when I opened my present. I have watched one of the series that you have recommended during this time, and yes, I loved Gakuen Babysitters! This charming series was very entertaining, and I felt very warm and fuzzy the whole time while watching it. I am excited and am looking forward to checking out the remaining series that you have recommended.
Thank you so much for taking the time to send me such wonderful gifts and the warm blessings attached. I wish you all the best in this new year and beyond. ♥
p.s. Thank you to all the elves who made this happened. Happy New Year!

Hello! @n0t_m0rr1s Thank you so much for al your recommendations. They all look really interesting and Im sure I will love all of them, Im really exicted to watch them! Right now I just started school again so It´s a lil bit complicated to me to watch a new whole anime that is not airing. I started watching Renai Flops, just 2 episodes or so, but Im enjoying it, it´s quite fun haha. I remember i saw it announced when it was airing but idk i thought it was going to be really bad, but right now is better than my expectations. The rest of the shows you recommended i really heard good things about them so for sure I will be watching them all. Thank you so much again for using your time to search so many animes for me. Cheers!! Thank you so much for this event to everyone who helped with it! |

Yo @ShadowR366 Big thanks for the recommendations! Hell's Paradise was great, already got through it all and now I'm waiting for the next season. Hello @eirian_j! Thank you so much for your anime recommendations, I'll make sure to watch all of them! You hit the nail on the head with them, I started Wotakoi while I was in the holiday spirit, but I'm already preparing for the angsty one, can't wait :D. And last, a huge thank you for recommending Laughing under the clouds, I planned to watch it but couldn't remember the title, I'm so happy to see it again. ^^ Thank you again! Hello @Harsh06! Thank you so much for your manga recommendation, I've already started reading it and been enjoying it a lot!:) It's the perfect balance of angst, comedy and romance, and I can't wait to finish the story as the plot seems to thicken. I also like the artstyle, it's super pretty. I never heard about this manga, so I didn't know what to expect, but I got sucked into the story immediately, it's very entertaining. Thank you again! ^^ Last but not least, thank you for all the elves for the hard work, this was fun! :) |

This event was a lot of fun! Thank you very much to all the elves that worked hard behind the scenes to make this happen. I will definitely participate again, and I hope to join in more events going forward. :) Howdy @Dolanzz ! I'm grateful for your two recommendations: (i) You hit the nail on the head with, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song, and it definitely carried the great aspects of my favorite shows that you mentioned. This show hooked me from the first episode, had the bittersweet goodness that I asked for, and it hit me hard in a feels more than a few times. I cannot believe I missed this gem from only a few years ago! (ii) I am glad that you also recommended, Undead Unluck, and I am even more glad that I chose to watch it second. After the feels-roller-coaster of Vivy, it was a much-appreciated relief to switch over to a wacky and fun battle shonen. The surreal and ridiculous world building is right up my alley -- a little bit like Gurren Lagann mixed with Soul Eater -- and also hooked me right away. With only a few episodes left to finish I am looking forward to future seasons. Best wishes and Happy New Year! (づ๑•ᴗ•๑)づ♡ |

Hey @VerbalEntities thanks for telling me about Mushi-Shi! I'm a few episodes in and really enjoying it. I don't quite see the Ghibli similarities tbh, but one series it reminds me of a lot is Mononoke; the style and tone are quite different, but the premise of a mysterious man wandering around and exorcising spirits is very similar. |

@xBaldur_ I want to thank you, but also kind of apologize. Your main recommendation was a very good one, but it's also something that I really should have already put on my PTW. Still, it's something I probably will watch soon. (I do have to say I don't think Mushoku Tensei is a very fitting recommendation for someone who listed harem as an unwanted genre, but I guess we can blame MAL on that one.) @Combeferre I've had a vague desire to broaden my horizons into shojo/josei territory for a while now, and I'm glad you gave me the push to try something. It did have a few iffy moments in the first few volumes (not sure how much of that is a shojo thing and how much is a this-specific-manga thing), but after getting past that into the meat of the story, it's been a really enjoyable read. And from what you told me in the recommendation, it will also have some stuff that I enjoy but rarely see i romance manga, so I'm really looking forward to seeing where it goes. Looking at your profile, you've read a ton of manga (I was expecting a low number similar to mine), so I'm definitely going to be taking a look to see if I can find anything else interesting. |

@kta_99 LOL I completely missed the Mushoku Tensei thing, my bad! I think I was too invested at that point and was just going off listed genres? Not sure what happened there to be honest, must have been very late at night... Otherwise yeah thank you. Hopefully you enjoy 86, it seemed to fit most closely with what you wanted (when I was still awake and sane anyway). Fire Force too, trust me push past the fan service, the story/action makes it so worth it. |

@lolinooby50 Thank you so much for your recommendations, don't worry about them being my pending items, I just add things there, I never watch anything later, if it weren't for you I would never watch those series. Both Yuyushiki and Yuru Yuri were very funny series, they almost made me forget about the fever (but they didn't, I was dying at the end of the year 😅(I feel better now...)). Thank you very much and I hope you enjoyed the gift from your Santa as much as I did. Many thanks to the staff for their hard work |

First of all; thank you (to the elves) for making all this happen! Hello, @Chuy_diazz ! Thanks for your recommendation. The Grimm Variations is a show I hadn't planned on watching, so I didn't know it existed. I can't lie; I haven't liked all the episodes. Also, some have had confusing or abstract endings and that's something I dislike. However... The episodes that I did like have really appealed to me. The fact that they are episodes that conclude within themselves is something that definitely satisfies me. It makes things easier! I've watched all the anime and that's also a good sign. I haven't dropped it. Another positive aspect is the accessibility to watch the anime, as not all anime are on multiple platforms and that's been great. In short... It's been an acceptable gift and it's been nice to start 2025 with this one crowning the list of all the ones I plan to watch throughout the year. Thank you again! |
