SFAI Global, formerly known as Santa Fe Associates, is a global consulting and advisory firm specializing in risk assurance, corporate finance, sustainability, management consulting, and tax and legal services. History

[edit]SFAI Global traces its origins to the Manhattan Project, a World War II-era research initiative that developed the first atomic bomb. The project brought together some of the world’s most renowned scientists, including Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Niels Bohr, and John von Neumann. The Los Alamos Laboratory, established in 1943 in New Mexico, served as the central hub for this research.
In 1984, several scientists from Los Alamos founded the Santa Fe Institute (SFI), an organization dedicated to advancing the study of complex systems. Building on this legacy, Santa Fe Associates was established in September 1995 by Howard Sherman, L. M. [Mike] Simmons, Bruce Abell, and Kevin Egan. Originally named the Santa Fe Center for Emergent Strategies, the company aimed to share ideas and experiences to drive continuous improvement. In 2014, the firm rebranded as SFAI Global, adopting an acronym for its name.

Alfredo Spilzinger
[edit]Alfredo Spilzinger serves as the CEO of SFAI Global. He holds advanced degrees in economics, administration, and several other fields, including philosophy, mathematics, and psychology. Spilzinger has been recognized for his contributions to economic research and international commerce, including receiving the Keys to the City of Miami for his efforts to strengthen trade relations between the United States and Mercosur. He has also served in the economic cabinets of former Argentine presidents Arturo Illia and Raúl Alfonsín.
In addition to his role at SFAI Global, Spilzinger is the Scientific Director of the World Complex Science Academy in Italy.
Events and Reunions
