Likely non-notable. Could not find any sources that prove notability, and many of the g-hits were of namesakes. Two references given, one from IMDB, another a very short profile. Article itself does not give evidence for notability. Samuel Tan 09:16, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. Sure, his notability may be a side-effect of his very famous sister, but it is real nonetheless. The article already has two sources, and lots more are available; there are many biographies of Lucille Ball and they contain much usable information about him. For instance, this source is a brief profile of him in a published book, and there are lots more hits on Google Books that can be used. Mangojuicetalk 13:59, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak keep - between the book mention and the obituaries, just about enough coverage. PhilKnight (talk) 15:18, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. (I did initial cleanup.) The stub is poorly written, based on the IMDb filmography. Fred Ball was more important as a studio exec., director, and band manager than as an actor. There are additional sources that flesh this out. However, everything is in Lucille Ball's shadow. Border line. • Gene93k (talk) 15:33, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
