Why does anyone want you to use another device?

Quite a few people, actually. Most of the criticism refers to the quality of the art being halted by the fact that you could clearly see each pixel if you tried. However, I actually like the rustic appeal of the pixelated look, despite my skills not being on par with other artists.
It's efficient, and it helps me get pages out at a consistent pace without being too much for me to get burnt out.
Of course, when it comes to the future and long-term planning, I do want to get a proper tablet someday, but as for now, I'm not in any position financially to make that sort of investment. Besides, changing up the style of the comic would be off-putting anyway. (c:

Absolutely nothing wrong with that and it's part of the reason why people will commission or ask you for art in general because they can't find anything that you make anywhere else. It along with your talent and motivations are what I like to see personally anyways.

Not always is the best decision change tools without practice

I like your style. It's unique, number one. Also, I enjoy not having every detail clarified - I enjoy imagining the details and colors; it's like reading a book.
