I should really stop calling things “last” or final”.
I don’t know why I said that with Tiya’s ref, because a little while ago, I remembered that I’d made a clefable OC years ago for a lite-RP thread online. I was talking to someone about the character, and in doing so, I wound up not only reminiscing about the personality traits and the social philosophy I’d developed for the character, but I began to continue developing the dork as I went! Fleshing out backstory, designing current living arrangements, friends, family… and at that point, it’s like: ‘Well shoot, I gotta get art of him now.’
So, meet Chief. He’s a fruity, forthcoming clefable who loves window shopping, eating breakfast on his favorite plate, daylight gardening, and moonlight pranks. As a bubbly wellspring of positivity, he’s eager to find the silver lining in the worst of things, match enthusiasm where it’s found, and avoid swearing. This is oft mistaken as childish naivete, but Chief’s experience and social intellect makes him adept at reading emotions - even by fae standards. Be ready if you open up, because he calls things as they are - supportively, of course. He addresses situations bluntly, but with an understanding smile. This makes him an excellent accidental flirt, often figuring out folks’ affection for him and calling it out as ‘super duper’ of them.
This ‘point-blank’ approach is a byproduct of his childhood, when a young Chief spent years moving through territories in the wilderness on the run from poachers. If not protected by Rangers, clef populations are poached for exotic sale, unique fairy abilities, and worse. Losing home after home, and eventually family, Chief decided to look for the light rather than wallow in the shadow it cast on him. Rest assured, things are going very well for him now.
How else could he afford those pearls~?
