Darling in the Franxx is a visually stunning and emotionally charged series that explores themes of love, identity, and the human desire for connection. Set in a dystopian future where humanity battles monstrous Klaxosaurs using mechas piloted by pairs of young pilots, the show blends heartfelt character dynamics with high-stakes action. The evolving relationship between Hiro and Zero Two serves as the emotional core, offering a poignant exploration of love and sacrifice. While the first half of the series captivates with its blend of mystery, romance, and character development, the latter half takes a bold, cosmic turn that divides viewers. Though its narrative ambition occasionally leads to uneven pacing and unresolved subplots, Darling in the Franxx remains a memorable journey with breathtaking visuals, compelling characters, and a deeply emotional resonance that leaves a lasting impression.

This anime moved me in a WAY, it brought out different emotions in different ways (like hate, joy and shaking my emotions. Ps: that ending is my fault lol).
I think it was a unique experience, it had a lot of ups and downs, I'm not going to lie, but with everything that happened and how it affected me, I have to give this anime a 10.
i dont think the ending was as bad as people made it out to be. the ending sequence might have been off, with how randomly virm showed up and how stagnant it was for a period after ep15, but honestly the ending itself wasnt too bad.
my favourite parts were still near the beginning, when we first meet everyone and see hiro and zero two's relationship.
it was alright
