Gainesin was raised into a magikal Nimmo family in Bogshot Swamp in Neopia. She lived in a quaint little home with her parents until she was 15, when she was allowed to go to a boarding school in Brightvale for those who were gifted in magik just as she was. Of course, to get in to the school, you also had to be rather bright as well, which she was. Though she was not wealthy like many of the other students, she made up for her reputation by being one of the most clever young witches to learn and do magik in the school. Her parents were quite proud of her.
