Speedy deletion nomination of Front-Line Party for Empowerment
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Front-Line Party for Empowerment requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. v/r - TP 01:03, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Way to Reference an Article
edit(ec) Looking through your contribs from recent changes I can see you are having trouble referencing what looks to be a userspace draft of your article. You can add sources to an article by using the <ref> tags. Anything inside the ref tag will automatically appear inside the references section instead of the location where the ref tag is. To create a references template you need to use either {{reflist}} template or the <references /> tag, though the {{reflist}} template is generally preferred because it gives you greater styling options than the tag including the ability to create multiple columns.
When you cite things you can use any style you'd like but to make things easier we have a variety of templates that produce a standard formatting. You can see a list of templates at WP:CITET. To make things even easier there is a tool that adds a button the to toolbar in the edit window to insert citations. You can install it by going to the gadgets tab in preferences and checking the "RefToolbar" box, then saving.
An example would be:
This is your article text. You want to cite a reference but not take up alot of space in the article doing so making the article more difficult. So we are going to use a named reference. We do this by using the name parameter. This is our reference code <ref name="ref 1"> this is our reference</ref>, notice that it is name ref 1. Once we have it named (at the bottom) we can put it anywhere in the article as many times as we would like by just typing <ref name="ref 1"/>, like so. [1] Here we will do it again. [1]
For more information on referencing see:
As for the content of your edits I have concerns based on this edit to your userpage that you have a conflict of interest in the article you are creating. I would highly recommended reading over the conflict of interest policy and at a minimum seeking review of your proposed article from another uninvolved and neutral editor.
Additionally the subject of the article you are editing does not appear to be notable and is very likely to be deleted if you were to post in in the mainspace. Wikipedia only accepts articles which "Have received significant coverage from reliable sources independent of the subject." --nn123645 (talk) 01:08, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
